The Writing Life

I was lax in writing over the Labor Day weekend and then family obligations kept me from writing for another weekend.
Now, however, I'm back to writing with a vengeance. I'm attending a workshop today about writing historical fiction, and I hope it will give me some insight into my current work. The Redwood Writers Association have put it together. I love them for being local and cheap- only $35 for the workshop. Writer's Digest wants to charge $99 for a webinar, which is the sort of price that gives me pause. There's a certain point where you have to justify your business expenses, and $35 is easier to justify than $99.
Anyway, I am hopeful, that this will kick-start my writing in a big way. Wish me luck.
