New Story In the Offing!

I've decided to track my new story by excel spreadsheet. Nanowrimo does have a lovely word counter, and I like to use it.

I know there has been weird allegations there. I suppose I ought to actually investigate them at some level. That is my problem: I'm a rando on the internet with a minimal amount of google-fu, and I often don't want to spend it on important things. Can I get a point for not then expounding on the thing that I just vaguely heard? Or do I get negative-points for knowing I should investigate, but not?

Anyway, I've got a simple murder mystery with a plotting villain in the offing, and I'll keep my numbers on track with a little flourish here and there. Stay tuned for a possible short story.
